HUMBLE BEGINNINGS: SHABBY CHIC STYLE STUDIO

Bride and Rose is a new player in the retail industry, but little did people know that it has been existing for quite some time now - under the name, Shabby Chic Style Studio. So if you ever wondered how Bride and Rose started, you got to read this short but beautiful success story of the brand's humble beginnings.

In 2016, the owner Trishie dela Cruz went to the US to study at the prestigious Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When she got enrolled in an Entrepreneurial Master Class she had no idea of the success that would follow soon. During one session, Prof. Tom Chi of Google X told them about The Science of Rapid Prototyping. From there, she began researching for inspiration and started conceptualizing her soon-to-be prototype.

Upon her arrival in the Philippines, she turned a small space into a pink, vibrant, and very feminine Bridal Store. It was named Shabby Chic Style Studio. This has become a home to different wedding suppliers. Many clients have been giving positive feedbacks in social media - allowing the brand to be known to many. Brides were thankful to find a store that has all the things needed on their wedding day! They saved time, energy, and a lot of money.

Shabby Chic Style Studio curated over 300+ weddings in just 3 years! From that success, Trishie realized that it is time to step up - thus, starting building Bride and Rose. Now, both Shabby Chic Style Studio and Bride and Rose are operating despite the lockdown.
